Uterus
The part of the female reproductive system (also called the womb) where a fertilized egg develops into a baby. The uterus is approximately 7.5 cm long in a woman who is not pregnant and is shaped like an upside-down pear. The bottom part of the uterus is called the cervix and the inner lining of the uterus is called the endometrium.
